Bisbee, Arizona, was one of the largest copper mining centers in America until it became a virtual ghost town in 1975 when its two massive mines were closed. Forty years later, Bisbee is a community of eccentrics, immigrants, hippies, bikers and drifters, attempting to reckon with a dark and violent history of a forgotten event known as the Bisbee Deportation. The film documents locals as they play characters and stage dramatic scenes from the controversial story, culminating in a largescale recreation of the deportation itself on the exact day of its 100th anniversary.

Victor Esses and Ellie Keel Productions today announce Edinburgh Festival Fringe run of Where to Belong in association with CASA Festival and Rich Mix. The production, written and performed by Victor Esses, opens at Summerhall on 2 August, with previews from 31 July and runs until 25 August ahead of a UK tour in 2020. The Civilians Presents Claire Kiechel's PAUL SWAN IS DEAD AND GONE

The Civilians, under the leadership of Founding Artistic Director Steve Cosson and Managing Director Margaret Moll, is proud to present the world premiere of Paul Swan is Dead and Gone by Claire Kiechel, a former member of The Civilians' R&D Group where the play was first developed. Directed by Cosson and starring Tony Torn as the real-life Paul Swan, the production marks Kiechel's New York debut and runs April 25 - May 19, with an opening night set for May 1. For an audience of only 30, the intimate and immersive performance takes place at Torn Page (435 West 22nd Street, Manhattan), a salon-style performance space located inside a historic Chelsea townhouse originally purchased by Torn's parents, Geraldine Page and Rip Torn.

GLAAD, the world's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, today announced that the nominees for the 30th Annual GLAAD Media Awards will be announced live from Park City, Utah from the AT&T Hello Lounge during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival on Friday, January 25. The announcement will be hosted by Mj Rodriguez (FX's Pose) and Nico Santos (Crazy Rich Asians, NBC's Superstore). GLAAD is an Institute Associate of Sundance and will also host on-the-ground events during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival to raise visibility of LGBTQ-inclusive films and LGBTQ filmmakers.

In collaboration with Ghiberti Foundation at Grace Cathedral, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA) is pleased to present Requiem Mass: A Queer Divine Rite, a monumental choral work organized by renowned singer-composer Holcombe Waller. Sold-Out Loveloud Festival Powered By AT&T Achieves $1,000,000 Goal

LOVELOUD Festival Powered By AT&T reached its goal of raising $1,000,000 Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT.  This year the LOVELOUD Foundation is donating its proceeds from the festival to LGBTQ+ organizations including Encircle, the Tegan and Sara Foundation and the Trevor Project.  The SOLD-OUT festival saw people coming from all corners of country, and Lt. Governor Spencer Cox read an official proclamation from Governor Gary Herbert that declared July 28, 2018 'LOVELOUD Day' in Utah.
