Grammy winning singer / songwriter, John Berry, celebrated his new single, “Beautifully Broken,” the title track for the exhilarating new feature film of the same name at the red carpet VIP Premiere Monday evening. The single has been #1 on the Christian Music Weekly Chart for 5 weeks and in the top ten since charting 23 weeks ago. “Beautifully Broken” is currently at #34 on the MusicRow Country Charts and continues to rise, breaking a 22 year stretch for charting a single on radio. The song was also added to Spotify's New Traditions: Country Heroes Playlist.

Casting is announced for two REPRISE 2.0 productions with two Tony Award leading actress nominees: Laura Bell Bundy (Legally Blonde - Tony Nomination, Hairspray, Anger Management) is to play Charity in Sweet Charity, directed and choreographed by three time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall from June 20 to July 1, and Carmen Cusack (Bright Star - Tony Nomination, Wicked) is to play Victoria Grant in Victor/Victoria directed by Richard Israel and choreographed by John Todd from September 5 to 16 at UCLA's Freud Playhouse.

The Walter W. Naumburg Foundation presents Swiss Cellist THOMAS DEMENGA, a 1977 Naumburg prize winner, in a rare U.S. concert appearing on Naumburg's distinguished artist series, Naumburg Looks Back. The concert takes place on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 7:30pm in Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall.

For many, Good Friday is a day to kick back, enjoy a hot cross bun or two and contemplate a relaxing holiday weekend. For John Yates and his mother Dee, Good Friday means an annual pilgrimage to hear Handel's glorious oratorio Messiah at London's iconic Royal Albert Hall, performed by the Royal Choral Society - the choir has performed it at the RAH every Good Friday since 1876. This year John and Dee are celebrating an incredible 40 years of attending this annual Easter event.

As the celebrations, performances, and successes of The Cleveland Orchestra's Centennial Season continue toward its conclusion this spring, the Orchestra has announced details of its 101st season for 2018-2019. Sarasota Opera will celebrate its 60th anniversary season in 2018/2019 as it announced today at a press conference held on the main stage of the Sarasota Opera House in Sarasota, FL. The event was overseen by Maestro Victor DeRenzi, artistic director and principal conductor, and Richard Russell, Executive Director. Performances were offered by soprano Kara Shay Thomson who sang "In questa reggia" from Puccini's Turandot and bass Young Bok Kim who sang "La calunnia" from Rossini's The Barber of Seville. In addition, the audience participated in a community sing of the famous chorus "Va, pensiero" from Verdi's Nabucco.

The production takes audiences on a deeply personal, high energy journey into the private and public life of this famed Underground Railroad conductor, spiritual icon, revolutionary, and entrepreneur, whose life spanned nine decades and still influences the consciousness of people throughout the world. The production is directed by Clinton Turner Davis and will take stage February 8 to March 4 at Castillo Theatre, 543 West 42nd Street.
