The Fix - 1997 - West End History , Info & More

Donmar Warehouse
41 Earlham Street London

From a new team of writers comes a hard-edged, hard-boiled commentary on the American political machine. Part tabloid, part "The Manchurian Candidate," The Fix is a totally original biting satire ripped from the headlines of today, yesterday, and most likely tomorrow. A popular presidential candidate is dead, and his wife, who has power on the brain, thrusts her son into the political spotlight. Her maniacal scheming is matched by that of her crippled brother-in-law, who will stop at nothing to see the boy elected. Together, the three of them make up one of the most dysfunctional almost-first families this side of real life Washington politics.

Tom James Pens GOD DOES NOT PLAY DICE

A new theory about the design of the universe is set out to challenge some widely accepted views in physics. Move aside Einstein, Hawking - there's a new kid in town. Tom James, author of the book 'God Does Not Play Dice' (published by Xlibris), has produced the first ever written account of how the universe works that is complete, unified and that resolves all the key inconsistencies that show up in other theories. The Making of America's Musical- 1776: The Story Behind the Story
by Jeffrey Kare - Jul 4, 2016

As America celebrates its 240th Birthday today, let's talk about what is probably one of the greatest musicals ever written, and it only came about 46 years before Hamilton. 1776 dramatizes the story of how John Adams was able to persuade his colleagues to vote for American independence as well as signing the Declaration of Independence.
