Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) is pleased to announce the winning selections of the 2009 TRU Voices New Musicals Reading Series. A world premiere production of 'Medea' starring Annette Bening will kick off UCLA Live's 2009-10 season, announced artistic and executive director David Sefton Wednesday evening at Royce Hall. The play, the first-ever original production created by UCLA Live, will be directed by Croatia's Lenka Udovicki who is known for her opera and theater creations throughout Europe.

There is an excitement in the air on the opening night of HAIRSPRAY, as both Amy Toporek (Tracy Turnblad) and Michael Walker (Edna Turnblad) take a seat on the comfy couch in the green room at the Walnut Street Theater.
