The Segal Centre for Performing Arts announced today an exciting lineup of programming for its 2019-2020 season that is filled with new adventures, new stories, and new worlds to discover. Driven to bring Segal Centre audiences first-rate theatre that is both entertaining and transformative with the power to strengthen and connect communities, Artistic and Executive Director Lisa Rubin has planned a theatre season that features six must-see productions that will take audiences on astonishing and emotional inspiring journeys.

The season kicks off with Mamma Mia opening August 9 and closing September 1, 2019.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced a compelling slate of productions for its 2019-20 subscription season. Berkeley Rep's newArtistic Director Johanna Pfaelzer revealed four of the seven subscription shows that will comprise her first season at the Theatre.

It was announced today that the new musical Swept Away, featuring the music of The Avett Brothers, will have its world premiere at Berkeley Rep as part of their 2019-20 season, beginning performances in June 2020. Swept Away is produced by Berkeley Rep by special arrangement with Matthew Masten and Sean Hudock.

Broadway Palm is proud to announce its 27th Season which includes eight main stage productions, five productions in The Off Broadway Palm, four Children's Theatre productions (TBA) and five concerts. Individual tickets go on sale June 1st.

San Diego Repertory Theatre (San Diego REP) announced today the line-up for its 2019/2020 season at the Lyceum Theatre. For its 44th season, San Diego REP invites audiences to sing along to the top-40 hits made at Gold Star Recording Studios in the 1950s and 60s in the world premiere musical 33 1/3: House of Dreams by Jonathan Rosenberg and Brad Ross. Enjoy the om pa pa of Banda music from Mexico in Playwright-in-Residence Herbert Siguenza's new comedy Bad Hombres/Good Wives. Delve into powerful dramas with the tour-de-force solo performance of Hold These Truths by Jeanne Sakata and the 2016 Tony Award-winner for Best Play, The Humans by Stephan Karam. Get swept away in a mash-up of classical Indian music and contemporary hip-hop from India in the action-packed House of Joy by Madhuri Shekar; and relish in the genius of Hershey Felder, with A Paris Love Story, featuring the music of Claude Debussy. Bay Area Musicals (Matthew McCoy, Founder & Artistic Director, and AeJay Mitchell, Managing Director) has announced the show titles for its upcoming fifth season, which will include four spectacular titles. The 2019-2020 seasonwill include the powerful 6-time Tony Award-winning GYPSY (November 9 - December 8, 2019), the hysterical 10-time Tony Award-nominated THE FULL MONTY (February 15 - March 15, 2020), the game-changing Tony Award-winning Best Musical A CHORUS LINE(April 11 - May 10, 2020) and Lin-Manuel Miranda's pre-HAMILTON career-making Tony Award-winning Best Musical IN THE HEIGHTS(July 11 - August 9, 2020). On Saturday, February 23, Ars Lyrica Houston surpassed its previous fundraising record at its magical loved-themed A Mid-Winter Night's Dream Gala which also included a surprise wedding! This gala, honoring Dr. Sippi Khurana and chaired by Stephanie von Stein and Dr. Mark A. Schusterman, took place at the modern luxury Hotel Alessandra in downtown Houston. Gala proceeds support Ars Lyrica's biennial Baroque opera productions, which began in Fall 2018 with Handel's Agrippina at the Hobby Center, a production that played to rave reviews.

Today Pennsylvania Ballet announces the 2019-2020 season programming with 12 ballets, featuring three company premieres and five world premieres, including the classic ballet La Bayadere.
