THE REVISIONIST, Eisenberg's second full-length play, is a dramatic exploration of obsession, secrets, and the complexities of family. Young author David travels to Poland to help overcome his crippling case of writer's block. Although seeking solace, his elderly second cousin Maria welcomes him with an overwhelming need to connect to her American relatives. As their relationship develops, she reveals details about her postwar past that test their ideas of what it means to be a family.

Directed by Joel Zwick, MAESTRO features only 22 performances prior to transferring to New York in fall of 2016. MAESTRO bows at The Wallis on August 10 with a special Opening Night Celebration. In its first production following a hit Off-Broadway run, Jesse Eisenberg's THE REVISIONIST will receive its West Coast debut at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in a new production directed by Robin Larsen. Leading the cast is Tony Award-winning star of August: Osage County Deanna Dunagan, Seamus Mulcahy and Ilia Volok. Previews begin in the Lovelace Studio Theater on Tuesday, March 29. Opening Night is Friday, April 1.

For their first production in 2016, Seven Siblings Theatre will present Picasso at the Lapin Agile, a surreal comedy written by legendary comic/actor/screenwriter, Steve Martin. Set in a bar in 1904 Paris, Picasso at the Lapin Agile imagines a meeting of Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in their youth, just before they each made their greatest contributions to society. One year later, Einstein publishes his Special Theory of Relativity, and in 1907, Picasso would go on to paint Les D'emoiselles D'Avignon. This irreverent comedy is both hilarious and poignant as the regulars and bar staff chime in on subjects such as love, art, the nature of genius, and what the future might hold.

Philadelphia Theatre Company will present the gripping and timely play Exit Strategy by "Chicagoan of the Year" Ike Holter January 29-February 28.  Directed by Kip Fagan, the production features an ensemble cast with Michael Cullen, Aime Donna Kelly, Rey Lucas, Deidre Madigan, Christina Nieves, Brandon Pierce, and Ray Spahn. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater's Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced that HAMLET IN BED, written by Michael Laurence and directed by Lisa Peterson, will now open Thursday, September 17, a week later than the previously announced date of September 10. The change was made to accommodate for the holiday weekend.
