Set in Baltimore during 1959, DINER follows a circle of childhood friends who confront the realities of adulthood in the one place they know they will always be welcome: the all-night diner. Delaware Theatre Company serves up a musical adaptation of DINER, written by Academy Award-winner Barry Levinson with music and lyrics by nine-time Grammy Award-winner Sheryl Crow. Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU), Patrick Blake, and Rhymes Over Beats present Echoes of Octaviaby Michelle T. Johnson on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 7pm at the SoHo Playhouse, 15 Vandam Street, NYC. Echoes of Octavia is directed by Brent Buell and features Onyi Okoli, Tyson Hall, Nina Yvette Coleman, Erick Carter, Torre Reigns, Jada Castillo, Alisha Espinosa. The play takes place in Octavia's Diner, a cozy, family-owned soul food restaurant in the middle of a black neighborhood in the Midwest. Zora, the business mind of the diner, receives the offer of a lifetime - a chance to write a book about the legendary sci-fi author Octavia Butler. She'd have to move half way across the country to work on it, but her father wants her to stay and run the diner. She's torn between family duty and her dream.

New Adventures are delighted to announce the principal cast schedule for the internationally acclaimed and multi-award winning dance thriller 'THE CAR MAN' for the final two weeks of its limited summer season at Sadler's Wells. 'THE CAR MAN' will run at Sadler's Wells from Tuesday 14 July to Sunday 9 August 2015. The Jeff Awards Committee today announced 118 nominations in 24 categories for the 42nd Annual Non-Equity Jeff Awards for productions that opened between April 1, 2014, and March 31, 2015. The Non-Equity Awards honor excellence in Chicago theatres not under a union contract. Jeff judges attended opening nights of 133 productions offered by 56 Non-Equity producing organizations. The Jeff Committee recommended 62 of those shows, making them eligible for Non-Equity Jeff Award nominations. Of the 62 Jeff Recommended productions, 46 received nominations, representing 23 theatre companies.
