Set in Baltimore during 1959, DINER follows a circle of childhood friends who confront the realities of adulthood in the one place they know they will always be welcome: the all-night diner. Delaware Theatre Company serves up a musical adaptation of DINER, written by Academy Award-winner Barry Levinson with music and lyrics by nine-time Grammy Award-winner Sheryl Crow. Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall.
Musical Theatre Guild, the winner of the Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle Margaret Harford Award for sustained excellence in the theatre, will open their 2015-2016 season with the Los Angeles premiere of the 2011 Broadway musical BONNIE AND CLYDE. The one-night-only concert will take place at Glendale's historic Alex Theatre, (currently celebrating its 90th Anniversary), on Sunday, September 20th at 7:00 PM.
The musical tells the story of a marine about to head to Vietnam for the war that saw an estimated 1.5 million casualties. Birdlace (Tiziano D'Affuso), and his fellow marines Boland (Harrison Smith) and Bernstein (David Landstrom) are on leave in San Francisco when they plan a party, like the soldiers before them, called 'The Dogfight.' All the soldiers put money in a pot and compete by bringing the ugliest girl and dancing with her at the party.

This fall, tune in to RFD-TV for new episodes of the hit music and comedy variety show, featuring performances from artists like Wade Hayes, John Conlee and Joey+Rory in September.

This year, the Television Animation category has been divided into two categories: Television Animation-Adult and Television Animation-Children. On September 23-24, Josh Grisetti will make his solo debut at 54 Below! Josh made his Broadway debut this past spring in It Shoulda Been You, for which he won the 2015 Clarence Derwent Award and received Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations. Off-Broadway and regionally, Josh has performed in Sheryl Crow's Diner, Peter and the Starcatcher, and the revival of Rent. Town Players' 80th anniversary season continues with BUS STOP, opening Friday, September 4 at The Little Theatre on Orchard Hill Road in Newtown. Opening night, patrons are invited to join the cast and crew for a champagne reception after the show to help kick off the 2015 Newtown Arts Festival. The month-long festival is sponsored by the Newtown Cultural Arts Commission.
Adapted from the 1991 film, Dogfight premiered Off-Broadway in 2012 and riding off the back of its short run, won two awards including 'Outstanding Musical' the following year. The European debut featured at the Southwark Playhouse last year and has enjoyed several regional productions since. The musical is currently playing at the beautiful Old Joint Stock in Birmingham which is a perfect setting for a stunning show.

Derrick Baskin (Memphis, Spelling Bee), Sam Brown, Zak Resnick (Piece of My Heart, Mamma Mia) and Daniel J. Watts (After Midnight, Motown) join Bryan as he celebrates the 10 year anniversary of his debut album, "Imperfect Man". The evening will take us on the unpredictable journey of the everyman, told through Bryan's original music and the pop, rock and Broadway songs that have inspired him.
