In its first Muny production since 2007, this Rodgers and Hammerstein classic features such classic songs as "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'," "The Surrey With the Fringe on Top," "People Will Say We're in Love," and of course its beloved title song.

Oklahoma's baledger.com is reporting that Broadway's Kristin Chenoweth has been inducted in the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. Chenoweth, who hails from Broken Arrow Oklahoma, is joined in the 83rd inductee class by Robert A. Hefner, III, Oklahoma City; Edward L. Keller, Tulsa; Judy Love, Oklahoma City; Michael C. Turpen, Oklahoma City; and Lew O. Ward, III, Enid.

The director, choreographer and design team for Oklahoma!, the classic Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein musical, have been announced. Playing at The 5th Avenue from July 8 through August 6, 2011, the musical will be directed by The 5th's Producing Director Bill Berry (On The Town, West Side Story, Cabaret), with scenic design by Walt Spangler, costumes by Alejo Vietta, lights by Tom Sturge, and sound by Zach Williamson.
