The completely reimagined revival of Side Show officially opens on Broadway tonight, November 17, at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street).

On Monday, November 17, the Theater People Podcast welcomes SIDE SHOW star Erin Davie. Davie shares stories about her six year journey with the production, working with director Bill Condon on updating and reimagining the show, memories from having seen the original production on Broadway, and how she and co-star Emily Padget found their Daisy and Violet.

Side Show will make history on Opening Night, November 17 at 7:45 p.m. when Clear Channel Spectacolor will broadcast the show-stopping Act I finale in Times Square with never before used audio technology on one of their digital billboards. The rousing Act I finale, Who Will Love Me as I Am?, sung by the show's two leading ladies, Erin Davie and Emily Padgett, will be the first opening night performance in history aired live in Times Square.

The completely reimaged revival of Side Show is currently in previews at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street), with official opening night on Monday, November 17. The Drama League continues the Fall 2014 Programming Schedule with the ever popular 'Up Close' Series featuring Academy Award winner and Broadway director of Side Show Bill Condon who will be joined by WABC TV's Sandy Kenyon, tomorrow, Wednesday, November 11, 2014 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Drama League Theater Center (32 Avenue of the Americas).

Carmine's welcomed the cast and crew of SIDE SHOW to West 44 Street by hosting a dinner Wednesday evening following their first tech rehearsal.

In a first listen below, SIDE SHOW's Erin Davie and Emily Padgett perform the production's beloved showstopper 'I Will Never Leave You.' The music from Side Show is written by Tony®, Academy® Award nominee and Grammy Award Winning composer Henry Krieger (Dreamgirls) and Tony® Award nominated lyricist Bill Russell, with orchestrations by Tony® Award winner Harold Wheeler, with musical direction by Sam Davis.
