NYC & Company, the City's marketing, tourism and partnership organization, today announced the return of On the House, a program to boost ticket sales at 25 Off-Broadway productions throughout Manhattan.

The 2009 MAC and Bistro award winning series Cabaret Cares will play its final performance of 2009. The evening entitled The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year,will feature performances by some of the best performers from Broadway and cabaret. Cabaret Cares is the ongoing series that help raise funds for Help Is On The Way Today. A non-for-profit that helps and assists children living with HIV and AIDS.

The 21st Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION announced an all time record total of $4,630,695 had been raised by the 60 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour companies to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This year's total breaks the previous record when $3,927,000 was raised for the 2007 GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION.

The musical comedy revue 'Naked Boys Singing!' comes home to Los Angeles with performances beginning September 17 at the Macha Theatre in West Hollywood. Produced by Macha Theatre/Films-Odalys Nanin and TANK Productions, this international entertainment sensation opens on Friday, September 25 and will run through November 22 only.

The former movie multiplex turned Off-Broadway house seems to be experiencing a happy renaissance, with its long-running anchor production, Altar Boyz, having been joined by laughter-inducing hits like The Toxic Avenger, Naked Boys Singing, My First Time and The Gazillion Bubble Show (which I haven't seen but I'm sure brings out many giggles from the youngsters). The hilarious Love Child, which previously ran at 59E59 will be moving in shortly, but first the welcome mat (and perhaps a red carpet) has been set for the center's new crown jewel as the Tony-winning Avenue Q completes its successful Broadway run and returns to its Off-Broadway roots.

NAKED BOYS SINGING!, the fifteen-song celebration of the male form will hit yet another milestone: it will celebrate its tenth anniversary on Saturday July 25th. The Naked Boys are appearing on New World Stages Stage 4, graciously shared with the other (clothed) Boyz of New World Stages: Altar Boyz! New World Stages is located at 340 West 50th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenues. Naked Boys plays Fridays at 10:30pm and Saturday evenings at 6pm.
