Adapted from the Academy Award-winning film The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, the musical is written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott. Direction is by Simon Phillips, choreography by Ross Coleman, musical supervision and arrangements by STEPHEN 'SPUD' MURPHY and set design by Brian Thomson and costumes by Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner. Production is supervised by Jerry Mitchell. Lighting is designed by Nick Schlieper, sound design is by Jonathan Deans and Peter Fitzgerald and make up design is by Cassie Hanlon.
Priscilla opened on October 26, 2010, in Toronto for a 12-week pre-Broadway run at The Princess of Wales Theatre, starring Will Swenson as Tick/Mitzi, Tony Sheldon as Bernadette, Nick Adams as Adam/Feicia, all of whom transferred to Broadway for the complete run.

The Huntington Theatre Company will open its 2015-2016 season with the Tony Award-winning musical A Little Night Music, Stephen Sondheim's most romantic and popular work, led by Tony and Olivier nominee Haydn Gwynne, as well as Broadway's Stephen Bogardus and Lauren Molina. Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois (after all the terrible things I do; Smart People; Rapture, Blister, Burn; and Becky Shaw) will direct. Audra McDonald has a big year ahead of her! After embarking on a concert tour this fall, the six-time Tony winner, who recenty wrapped filming for Disney's live action Beauty and the Beast, will be back on Broadway, starring alongside Brian Stokes Mitchell, Billy Porter, Joshua Henry and Brandon Victor Dixon in SHUFFLE ALONG.
Before all of that, McDonald will head to Provincetown, MA to take part in the acclaimed Broadway @ Town Hall concert series, hosted by SiriusXM radio star Seth Rudetsky. For one show only on Monday, August 24 (6:30 PM), she will be joined onstage by her husband and fellow Broadway star Will Swenson, with whom she is currently starring in Williamstown Theatre Festival's A MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN.

Drama Desk Award winner and Drama League nominee Lisa Howard, who is currently earning rave reviews starring as Jenny Steinberg in Broadway's 'It Shoulda Been You', is the final special guest performer to join Tim Realbuto in his autobiographical piece 'Wunderkind' at The New York Musical Theatre Festival. Ms. Howard is also well known for her portrayal of Rona Lisa Peretti in the original Broadway cast of 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee'. Her numerous other Broadway credits include Lincoln Center's 'South Pacific'; '9 to 5'; and 'Priscilla Queen of the Desert'. On television, she appeared on ABC's 'Ugly Betty', but is perhaps most known to film audiences as Siobahn in 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.' Next up, she will star as Sylvia in director Joseph Wartnerchaney 's thriller 'Decay' for Ghost Orchid Films.
