The evening will begin with a reception at 6:00 p.m. with the program starting at 7:00 p.m., moderated by New York Magazine Editor at-Large Jesse Green. TTC Partners With BC/EFA And Hudson Pride Connections During Its Run of RENT

The Theater Company (TTC) opens with the Broadway musical RENT on February 3, 2010, but instead of just telling the story of seven friends dealing with love, loss and AIDS, the company is also helping to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Hudson Pride Connections - two organizations whose mission is to assist in the fights against HIV/AIDS and bridge gaps for gay communities.

(MCC Theater traditionally utilizes only the orchestra section of the Lucille Lortel Theatre for its productions).

The Rose Theater's Teens 'N' Theater program will present Pride Players: Project 11 January 28, 30 and 31, 2010, in The Rose's Hitchcock Theater. Pride Players is a show for teens, by teens, which uses improvisation, poetry and monologues to explore what it means to be gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered or straight-allied in Omaha. This year, Pride Players will be presented in memory of Tracy Iwersen, co-founder and co-director.
