The 2009 Regional Theatre Tony Award winning-Signature Theatre presents the world premiere theater event First You Dream': The Music of Kander & Ebb, September 10 through 27, 2009. Luigi Creatore's Flamingo Court was directed by directed by Steven Yuhasz and celebrated life in three Florida condos at New World Stages. From the ridiculous to the touching, Creatore's' play has been heralded as 'Without question, the funniest show in town. Laughs galore!' UPI with John Simon of Bloomberg calling the show 'a wall-to-wall hoot for old and young alike. The audience laughed up a Florida-worthy hurricane!'

Culture Project has announced that 'Blueprint for Accountability,' a thought-provoking new monthly series that gathers the world's foremost political experts and today's most visionary artists in a series combining the best of investigative journalism with the best of the performing arts, will launch Sunday, May 31, 2009, at 7:00pm at The Times Center with its inaugural presentation, 'Working the Dark Side.'

On Monday, June 1, Resonance Ensemble's (Eric Parness, Artistic Director; Rachel Reiner, Managing Director) Chairman of the Board Dori Thompson and the Resonance Ensemble Board of Trustees will celebrate and honor award winning playwright Arthur Giron. The reception and silent auction will begin at 6PM (reading beginning at 7PM) at Theatre Row's Lion Theatre (410 West 42nd Street).

The new original musical comedy STAGE AND SCREEN - written and composed by Kip Dennis, with music direction, arrangements and orchestration by six-time Emmy Award winning Musical Director Lanny Meyers - will make available a limited number of copies of its brand new Original Cast Recording, beginning on May 20, 2009, it has been announced by lead producer Vasi Laurence. Tony Winner Dan Fogler premiered his directing debut at the Tribeca Film Festival last week. The movie, Hysterical Psycho, is a spoof of cabin in the woods movies, made with his theater group, Stage 13.
