Winner of 12 Tony Awards, 8 Academy Awards and 7 BAFTA Awards, CABARET wows audiences and critics alike time and time again sky-rocketing the careers its starts.  Fifty years ago in 1966 the original Broadway production made a household name of Joel Grey who shook audiences as The Emcee.  Two years later an unassuming Judi Dench stole the show as Sally Bowles on London's West End.  Arguably the most iconic movie musical of all time made a star of Liza Minnelli when she brought Sally Bowles to the silver screen directed by Bob Fosse.

WITHOUT SHAME is Now Available
by Christina Mancuso - Dec 11, 2015

FB Publishing has released the debut novel of Katherine Russell, a Buffalo, NY writer who takes a critical look at cultural interaction through the 'white savior' archetype. Set in East Pakistan, what is now Bangladesh, this neocolonial novel begins as tensions between East and West Pakistan culminate, at the brink of the revolution. WITHOUT SHAME is Now Available for purchase in all bookstores in paperback or ebook format. 'Without Shame' is a love story at its core - but not in the traditional sense. It's about love of one's country, culture, God, and language. It's about the power of identity to shine through when other forces threaten to overshadow it. In 1968 East Pakistan, in a village called Madhukhali, shame is a virtue Sariyah never mastered. She yearns to join a movement with her fellow Bengalis, who are gripping onto their language and cultural identity against neocolonial powers - but she is continuously sucked into the narrow visions of her father. Enter Rodney Creed, who bursts into this world with the overconfidence and naïveté of a college graduate, too eager to sense the rumbling ground beneath him - until he meets Sariyah. Rodney believes he is there to teach, but he will learn painful, irreversible things. 'Without Shame' is available for purchase everywhere books are sold. For book excerpts, author events and much more, please visit www.katherinekeepswriting.com or www.facebook.com/authorKatherineRussell. Advance Praise for 'Without Shame' 'A harrowing tale of love, family honor, and tradition, 'Without Shame' will leave you at the edge of your seat, wanting more and more with the turn of each page. It's rare to find a book about East Pakistan era-Bangladesh that truly moves me both historically and culturally. I experienced a whirlwind of emotions reading the rest of the story.' - Brown Girl Magazine 'Without Shame' is charming, witty and has a powerful message. This book will engage you on all levels and knock the wind out of you when you least expect it!' - SISTERS Magazine About The Author Katherine Russell is an author, poet, freelancer, and musician born and raised in Buffalo, NY. by Matt Tamanini - Dec 3, 2015

Since last Thursday was Thanksgiving, tonight will likely be the first time this season that you are going to be experiencing the severe symptoms of acute #TGIT withdraw. Unfortunately, after the November Sweeps period ended, ABC and Shonda Rhimes are keeping her doctors, gladiators, and murderers on the shelf until February 11th, when another sweeps period is in full effect. So, to help ween you off of your OPA addiction (you can't just quit Olivia cold turkey, ask Jake and Fitz), I have assembled a group of clips that show your favorite SCANDAL stars in a slightly different light than you are accustomed to, namely, singing showtunes!
