Ziemba, McKechnie, McCarthy, Nixon and Others Announced for Barrington Follies

Tony award winners Karen Ziemba and Donna McKechnie, Urinetown's Jeff McCarthy, City of Angels's Leslie Denniston, and Tony-nominated Lara Teeter will star in Barrington Stage Company's production of James Goldman's and Stephen Sondheim's masterpiece Follies. Broadway veteran Marni Nixon will also be featured. Artistic Director Julianne Boyd will direct and Lara Teeter will choreograph. Follies, presented in celebration of Sondheim's 75th birthday, will run from June 23 through July 16 at the Consolati Performing Arts Center, Sheffield, MA.

A Gospel Christmas' album has just been nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Instrumental Arrangement / Accompanying Vocalist.' Other nominees in this category include 'Over The Rainbow' arranged by Victor Vanacore (Ray Charles & Johnny Mathis performer), and 'Unchained Melody' arranged by Steve Gaboury, Cyndi Lauper & Don Sebesky (Cyndi Lauper performer).

Blue Eyed Soul: A Benefit for Broadway Cares

Broadway singer Glenn Rainey of Disney's Beauty and the Beast will perform classic R&B hits on December 13th, 2004 in an original show called 'Blue-Eyed Soul' at the Triad theatre on West 72nd Street at 9:15pm. This special one night only event will be a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
