Agatha Christie's 1922 thriller The Secret Adversary will receive its world stage premiere at The Watermill Theatre on 12 February 2015 where it will play for 44 performances, prior to a six-week national tour. Introducing crime-fighting duo Tommy and Tuppence to the stage for the very first time, The Secret Adversary will be brought to life in a new adaptation by Sarah Punshon and Johann Hari. Tickets go on sale at The Watermill Theatre from 10 November 2014.

Disney Theatrical Productions and Stage Entertainment announce the European premiere and second international production of Disney's Aladdin, the smash Broadway musical comedy. Performances will begin fall 2015 at The Stage Theatre Neue Flora in Hamburg, Germany

The Broadway League announced today that Judith Light, a two-time Tony Award winner, will serve as the 2015 KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY National Ambassador. The 19th KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY will take place Friday, January 9, 2015 to Thursday, January 15, 2015.

THE LION KING is set to be licensed to schools in two formats beginning in January of 2015.

Disney's THE LION KING continues to reign across North America with a sold-out engagement in Boston, which concluded on Sunday, October 12 at The Boston Opera House. Heralded as a "visual feast" by the Boston Globe, the triumphant five-week return grossed over $8.8 million at the box office and entertained more than 94,000 patrons during 40 performances, one of which was tailored to the needs of patrons on the autism spectrum.

On Sunday 19th October Disney's THE LION KING will celebrate its 15th anniversary at London's Lyceum Theatre. The award-winning musical has entertained over 12 million theatregoers and remains the West End's best-selling stage production. It also recently became the sixth longest-running West End musical of all time.

Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh will serve as Honorary Chairman of the event committee for the first-ever autism-friendly performance of Disney's THE LION KING at the Boston Opera House today, October 11th at 2pm, an initiative hosted by Autism Speaks, the world's leading autism science and advocacy organization, in partnership with Broadway In Boston and Disney Theatrical Productions.

NETworks and Broadway Entertainment Group open the first ever International Tour of Disney's Beauty and the Beast in Istanbul on Friday 10th October 2014. Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway Across America announced today that tickets for the long-awaited return engagement of DISNEY'S THE LION KING will go on sale to the public on Friday, October 10th at 10:00a.m. Fort Lauderdale's most eagerly awaited return will once again leap onto the Au-Rene stage on Wednesday, January 7 for a limited engagement of 4 weeks through Sunday, February 1. The opening night is Friday, January 9 at 8:00p.m.

Disney Theatrical Productions and Shiki Theatre Company just announced the first international production of Disney's Aladdin, the smash Broadway musical comedy. Performances will begin in May 2015 at The Dentsu Shiki Theatre Umi in Tokyo.

Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott opened with a roar on Friday September 26 at the Coterie Theatre in Kansas City, Mo. "When you have your hand in the lion's mouth it is best to pat it on the head. . ." The lion is segregation and it is Rosa Parks and the Civil Rights Movement that is patting it on the head. Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott, written by Sue Greenberg, opened the 2014-2015 season for the theater.
