Santa Clarita Valley & Seattle Youth Orchestra, Spectrum Dance and Elsa Lund at Town Hall Seattle

This special concert brings together three vibrant youth arts communities: SCVYO, students from the Seattle Youth Symphony, and dancers from Spectrum Dance Theater Youth Company. The program culminates in a powerful, staged performance of selections from Georges Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 1, featuring live choreography performed alongside the orchestra and a special appearance by guest mezzo-soprano Elsa Lund.

The evening opens with string repertoire showcasing the expressive depth and precision of SCVYO and Seattle Youth Symphony musicians, followed by the electrifying rhythms and dramatic flair of Carmen & more! Audiences will experience music not only as sound, but as movement and storytelling — an immersive collaboration between young instrumentalists, dancers and voice.
