Pop-Rock Musical about Vincent van Gogh, STARRY, to Debut at Edinburgh Fringe

Coming off their sold-out shows at Feinstein's/54 Below in New York City and Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles, the concert version of Dahan and D'Angelo's emotional and explosive pop-rock show STARRY, about brothers Theo and Vincent van Gogh, will be making its European debut this summer, August 12th-14th, at Edinburgh Fringe.

Featuring Huck Walton, Amanda Walter, Laura Hartley, and Tim Hein, this cabaret tells the story of two brothers and their undeniable power of expression. Interwoven with letters from the artists of the time, this unique and deliberate deconstruction of the full musical showcases the soaring melodies while providing a raw and intimate glimpse into heart behind it all. Come experience firsthand the revolutionary spirit of late 19th century France and the colorful journey of two brothers that forever changed the night sky. Starry is a story about the thousands of letters between the famous painter, Vincent van Gogh, and his brother, Theo, who made Vincent's dreams possible. This project, which originally brought together composer-lyricist Matt Dahan (The Babies, Break: The Musical) and dramatist-lyricist Kelly Lynne D'Angelo (Final Space, My Little Pony: Equestria Girls), has just come off its sold-out shows at both Rockwell Table & Stage in Los Angeles and Feinstein's/54 Below in New York City.
