Nervous but hopeful, dreamy but anxious, brown hair, five foot five? If you are the first four, then you might be a Pisces. If you are all of the above, then you might be Mary Flanigan, a comedian who knows horoscopes are nonsense but can't stop reading them.
Mary Flanigan's first solo show will be an exploration of the pseudo-science of astrology through one woman's insecurities. Tracing the journey of astrology from Persian courts to the back page of Marie Claire, this hilarious show will use Mary's unwilling obsession with star signs to deliver an hour of first-class stand-up comedy.
A well-known comedian who has performed across Ireland and the UK, Mary Flanigan was a semi-finalist in the Funny Women 2016 competition and has performed and written for BBC Radio Ulster and BBC Northern Ireland. She has performed at the Vodafone Comedy Festival in Dublin and has performed 'Mary Flanigan Is A Pisces, Obviously' to sell-out audiences in London and Belfast.
