A new production of Puccini's Tosca directed by Maria Todaro, General Director and CEO of Florida Grand Opera, presented at the 72nd Festival Puccini in Torre del Lago, Viareggio, Italy. The Festival Puccini is one of the world's most celebrated outdoor opera festivals, held each summer on the shores of Lake Massaciuccoli. Todaro brings extensive history with this opera, having staged the first live drive-in opera in the United States in 2020 — a socially distanced, sci-fi production of Tosca in Kingston, New York. Performances take place on July 18 and 31 and August 8 and 21, 2025.
