JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at Woodside Performing Arts Center

Woodside Musical Theatre, a peninsula community theater since 1957, is proud to present Jesus Christ Superstar in Concert — the company’s first-ever concert presentation and the first time in its history that it will produce a second major production within a single season.
The electrifying rock opera will be presented in concert featuring a 40-piece orchestra and a cast of 30 for four performances, April 9–12, 2026, at the Woodside Performing Arts Center (199 Churchill Road, Woodside, CA).
A Visit From a Legend — One Night Only!
The preview performance on Thursday, April 9 at 7:00pm includes an extraordinary event: a post-show talkback with Broadway and film legend Ted Neeley, who starred as Jesus in the iconic 1973 film adaptation of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Neeley will reflect on the musical’s 50+ year global legacy, the cultural impact of the film, and his personal journey with one of theater’s most demanding and beloved roles. For theater fans, this is a rare opportunity to hear directly from an artist whose performance helped define a generation of musical storytelling.
