by Robert Diamond - Broadway
(08/29/2011) - On Saturday August 27, 2011, BroadwayWorld.com's CEO/Editor-in-Chief Robert Diamond, in the midst of Hurricane Irene married actress Jennifer Hallie Rosen after a 17 month engagement. The two were introduced by a friend of Rosen's, who wasn't able to make the wedding, as a result of the weather and warnings throughout all the boroughs. The BroadwayWorld.com News Desk stayed feverish all weekend while the couple said 'I Do', as news was coming fast about theatre cancellations, schedule changes and travel advisories in addition to all things that were happening in other parts of the country and the world, not affected by the Northeast's local weather.

by Nicole Rosky - Rockland / Westchester
(03/29/2011) - The Hit Musical, Singin' In The Rain, is an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza! Based on one of the most celebrated and beloved movies of all time, Singin' In The Rain jubilantly taps its way onto WBT's stage this Spring. Reveling in parody, the musical turns the precarious birth of the 'talkies' (and the demise of nearly all silent picture stars during the late 20s) into an unforgettably hilarious, light-hearted romantic comedy. Singin' In The Rain has been described as 'one of the best musicals of all time' featuring some of the best loved comedy routines, dance numbers, and songs ever written, including 'Good Morning,' 'Make ‘Em Laugh,' 'Moses Supposes,' 'You Were Meant For Me' and, of course, 'Singin' In The Rain.'

Photo Flash: Westchester Broadway Theatre's I DO! I DO!
by Nicole Rosky - Rockland / Westchester
(02/15/2011) - Based on the Jan De Hartog play, The Fourposter, the story spans fifty years, from 1895 to 1945, as it focuses on the trials and tribulations, laughters and sorrows, and hopes and disappointments experienced by Agnes and Michael Snow throughout their marriage. I DO! I DO! is a remarkably intimate, romantic piece. We are invited into the bedroom of newlyweds Michael & Agnes who anticipate a wonderful blissful life…'Together Forever' as one of the early musical selections would have us believe. As we all know, reality sets in as the young couple struggle to maintain their happiness, passion, devotion and yes even a sense of humor, through all the joys, pains, trials and tribulations that they share in their 50 years of marriage.
