On Wednesday, January 16 The Wilbury Theatre Group announced on social media that in response to the ongoing shutdown of the federal government, the company would be offering FREE ADMISSION to government employees for all performances until the shutdown ends, effective immediately.

Inspired by the generosity of museums around the country offering free admission to furloughed employees, including the RISD Museum, The Wilbury Theatre Group is offering free admission to government employees who presents a government issued ID badge or other proof of employment at the door for all performances.

"Like everyone else, it is our hope that the shutdown ends sooner rather than later," said Wilbury Artistic Director Josh Short. "But so long as it does last, we're happy to do some small part and offer those affected a night out at the theatre."

Complimentary tickets are available at the door only and available only with government issued ID or proof of employment. Limit one ticket per show per government employee.
