Theatre By The Sea owner and producer Bill Hanney, Producing Artistic Director Amiee Turner and Managing Producer Joel Kipper are proud to continue Theatre By The Sea's 2010 Children's Festival with the comedy jugglers, The Airborne Comedians on Friday, July 9, 2010.

Whether balanced atop seven-foot unicycles or frantically flinging objects at one another, this pair is a sure bet to make you laugh. Over the past fifteen years, this duo has entertained audiences of all ages and backgrounds. They juggle a cornucopia of objects including (but not limited to) baseball bats, lawn chairs, flaming torches, children, hats, clubs, balls, rings, electric guitars, machetes, flaming lawn chairs, fruit, and random objects from the crowd.

The Airborne Comedians have performed throughout North America, Europe and as far away as Singapore. A juggling/comedy duo, who combine incredible and unorthodox juggling skills with an outrageous sense of humor, the Airborne Comedians are not to be missed! New vaudevillian Dan Foley is one of New England's premiere variety performers. He has appeared on WCVB -TV's Chronicle, MTV, TNN, FOX and PBS. For over 13 years, he and Joel Harris - as the Airborne Comedians - have been featured street performers at Faneuil Hall. Most recently, Dan Foley performed onstage with the band Phish, and appears on their DVD, Bittersweet Motel.

After the performance, families can enjoy refreshments which will be available for purchase at the gazebo.

The Airborne Comedians will be presented on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 10:00 am and 12:00 noon. The theatre is located at 364 Cards Pond Road, Matunuck, RI. Single tickets are $10.00 each with packages of three shows or more for $8.00 per ticket. Discount rates are available for groups of 20 or more by calling (401) 782-3800 x18. Tickets are on sale at the box office Mon-Sat from 10:00 am-4:00 pm, online 24-hours-a-day at www.theatrebythesea.com and via telephone during normal box office hours by calling (401) 782-TKTS (8587).
