In celebration of the National Tour-opening of THE NEW Mel Brooks MUSICAL YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, Trusts and Estates Law Firm Correira & Iacono LLP is sponsoring a $1,000 scholarship for students who will be seniors during the 2009/2010 academic year or who are currently enrolled in college, and have achieved overall academic excellence.

David J. Correira, Esq., said, "Our firm feels that it's very important to give back to the community. We're happy that we can sponsor another scholarship that is inspired by one of PPAC's shows, as we did successfully last year with LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL."

Mark Iacono, Esq., said, "We're really excited to be sponsoring a scholarship in conjunction with PPAC and YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. The scholarship is a great way to encourage and reward academic excellence. We had a tremendous response last September; we awarded a scholarship to a wonderful student named Nicole Verdi from Warwick, RI. "

PPAC Marketing Director P.J. Prokop said, "This is the second year that Correira & Iacono LLP has sponsored a PPAC-inspired academic scholarship. Last September, when LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL opened its National Tour at PPAC, Correira & Iacono LLP offered a scholarship for students interested in pursuing a legal career. This is a great way for Correira & Iacono LLP to encourage academic excellence and PPAC appreciates their support."

The deadline for applications is Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Visit www.ppacri.org or www.estateplanningelderlaw.com for complete guidelines and an application.
