The Courthouse Center for the Arts and Center Stage Productions recently announced the Rhode Island Premiere of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, the musical this March.

Visit French Riviera in this musical comedy about the perfect con.  Lawrence Jameson is a suave and charming man who runs a well planned con that earns him enough to live comfortably in Beaumont sur Mer.  Young Freddy Benson, an unpolished, uncouth con-man who yearns for “great big stuff.”  An initial alliance between the two con artists is shattered when Christine Colgate of Cincinnati, Ohio, The American Soap Queen, enters the scene.  As convoluted con-games escalate between the two shysters Christine unknowingly becomes the center of a bet.  Hilarity ensues as each man tries to out con and trick the other in the race for the prize.

Who will win, Freddy or Lawrence?  You’ll be laughing in the aisles and screaming “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels!”

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels runs March 13-29th at the Courthouse Center for the Arts, located at 3481 Kingstown Rd, West Kingston RI.  Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm with Matinees on Sundays at 2pm.  Tickets are $27 for adults, $24 for Seniors and CCA Members, and $20 for Students.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.courthousearts.org or by calling (401) 782-1018.  Join the con and get yours today!
