Exit 63 Productions presents "very still and hard to see" by Steve Yockey. Directed by Exit 63's Artistic Director Connor Baty, the production features an ensemble cast with Bailey Castle, Andrew Garcia, David Gordon-Johnson, Rachel Mock, Scott Olson, Jordan Rowe, Manuela Rentea, and Chelsea Turner. Assisted by Nora Lise Ulrey, stage management by Lucien Gratteri, lighting design by David Goodman-Edberg, sound design by Teddy Gales, and fight choreography by Bill Gordon.
A disorienting exploration of our demons, both in a literal and figurative sense, Steve Yockey's very still and hard to see is a short play cycle recounting the history of a cursed hotel and the haunted individuals who fall into it's trap. Each chilling encounter breaks the boundaries of the real and the surreal, reminding us that sometimes bad things do happen for a reason. Exit 63 joins the ranks of Chicago production companies as a collaborative resource for actors to explore the other side of the table in producing and creating interesting work.
