“I’M WITH STUPID” stops at the Hollywood on its worldwide tour that started in Madrid and culminates at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. It opens on June 18, 2022, at Asylum@Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre, 5636 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90038.

In 2002, UK comedian and 3-time Edinburgh Fringe First winner Henry Naylor (2018 Hollywood Fringe Best International nominee for “Echoes”) went to the Afghan War Zone with photographer Sam Maynard to conduct research for Naylor's Edinburgh Fringe play “Finding Bin Laden.”

After lots of books for hardcore musical theatre lovers, Miller has finally written one for everybody else, The ABC's of Broadway Musicals: A Civilian's Guide, a fun, short, easy-to-read introduction to the art form, famous shows, famous artists, books and videos to check out, and a short but informative stroll through the history of musicals.

New Line Theatre's artistic director Scott Miller has published another collection of essays, LITERALLY ANYTHING GOES: 14 ODDBALL MUSICALS AND WHAT MAKES THEM TICK. Miller's fifth book of deep-dive musical theatre exploration is a surprising and entertaining journey into more than a dozen quirky but fascinating musicals, some famous, some less so.

Agatha Christie is missing and barmy ace detective, Miss Clarissa Marbles, needs your help in solving the crime. Was it the cook, the husband, the secret admirer . . . or you? Everyone is a suspect in this fun-filled murder mystery. If you have a criminal record or any skeletons in your closet, she'll find out. And of course don't hesitate to inform on your neighbours. The audience votes on the best solution to this rollicking whodunit and a lovely prize will be awarded to the winner!

Told with a Magic 8 Ball, George Steeve's solo show chronicles his trials and tribulations living on the autism spectrum. From childhood to adulthood, experience his challenges with school, dating and trying hard to fit in, always hoping that stardom would one day finally grant him acceptance.

For the 88th Kritzerland show we turn to one of the greatest composers of the 20th century - the one and only George Gershwin.  There is simply nothing like a Gershwin tune and we've got plenty of them - from the classics to the lesser-known Gershwin, with lyrics by brother Ira.  The songs are romantic, funny, moving, perky, and let us tell you you can strike up the band for our fantastic cast.  So, join us for this joyous, s'wonderful evening that you won't want to miss.  We may even have a surprise or two up our Kritzerland sleeves. Vietgone by Qui Nguyen is the Vietnamese-American playwright's own creation story-a telling of his parents' 1975 refugee camp romance in a "geek theater" spectacle that's at turns affecting, sage, raucous, and fantastical. A screenwriter for Marvel Studios and founder of Obie Award-winning company Vampire Cowboys, Nguyen's work champions representation and diversity on stage while dripping with pop culture nods, contemporary music, and action-adventure narrative. The production pairs this Studio-commissioned playwright with director and Studio Cabinet member Natsu Onoda Power. Drawing on Vietgone's comic book aesthetics, Studio's Stage 4 is transformed into a garage concert with a live band and original funk-rock-punk-n-roll score, giving audiences a front row seat to this anything-but-typical story of boy meets girl.

For our 86th show we once again celebrate April Fools and all things April Foolish, one of our favorite shows to do. After a year and three months of doing the initial Kritzerland shows, we inaugurated the Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal room on April 1, 2012, so this is our sixth anniversary in the room. That, of course, is reason enough to come but it's also always a wild and wacky show.
