Prescott Center for the Arts presents HARVEY by Mary Chase, directed by Bruce Thomson and running tonight, January 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, & 19, 2013 at 7:30 PM (tickets $19) and January 13 & 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM (tickets $15).

Mary Chase's Pulitzer Prize-winner tells the endearing story of the eccentric Elwood P. Dowd and his six foot tall invisible rabbit companion Harvey. AS they tipple from tavern to tavern, they become instant friends with everyone they meet. But after Elwood introduces Harvey to his sister Veta's society friends, she and her daughter Myrtle Mae decide to have Elwood committed to the local sanitarium where mistaken identity leads to a comically improper diagnosis and hilarious consequences. In the play's climactic scene, Veta - and all of us - will be asking ourselves whether "normal" is all it's cracked up to be!
