LOVE MAKES THE WORLD GO 'ROUND, Music and Lyrics by Bob Merrill, Written by Duane Poole, and Musical arrangements by Brad Ellis, musical arranger/director from television's Glee, will make its world premiere Jan. 23-Feb. 17 at Phoenix Theatre in Arizona.

At a piano bar in Manhattan's West Forties, three women meet and compare lives and loves; one on the verge of marriage, another considering a divorce, and one who's older, single, and needs to reconnect with love's possibilities. Each has her own journey - comic, bittersweet, romantic - set to the songs you grew up singing. A brand new musical comedy, Love Makes the World Go 'Round features the songs of Bob Merrill and his musical legacy - including his sing-along pop hits (such as Mambo Italiano, Honeycomb, How Much is That Doggie in the Window), work for the musical theatre (Funny Girl, Carnival, Sugar, Take Me Along) and memorable songs for television and film.

Casting has been announced, which includes Jeannie Shubitz (Anna), Allison Houston (Natalie) and Patti Davis (Irene). Larry Raben (Forever Plaid) will direct.
