Brazilian Day Arizona is an annual celebration of Brazil's Independence Day through music, dance, martial arts, cuisine and more. Suitable for all ages, this family-friendly festival showcases a variety of live performances and educational programs, including authentic Brazilian bands, DJs, dancers and instructors. Visitors have the opportunity to learn about Brazil's rich cultural heritage and to enjoy its infectious energy and spirit. Presented in partnership with Afro:Baile Records.

Saxophonist Christopher Creviston and electric guitarist Oren Fader perform a concert of works composed for them, as well as a few collaborations with ASU faculty guests. The duo's repertoire spans an incredibly wide range of influences, including romantic folk songs, contemporary classical, jazz and even Scandanavian Black Metal!

A 12-time Grammy Award winner, Billboard Century Award recipient and Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, singer-songwriter Emmylou Harris has recorded more than 25 albums and lent her talents to countless fellow artists' recordings. Rodney Crowell is a multi-Grammy winner whose songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Norah Jones, Etta James and the Grateful Dead, among others. Both longtime friends, Harris and Crowell perform songs from their acclaimed collaborative album, Old Yellow Moon.

Decades into their career, the Indigo Girls still amaze conventional pundits with their ability to grow and thrive. The folk-rock duo of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers began performing together in high school, transferred their honest, urgent performing style onto the stages of countless small clubs, then saw their public profile take off with the 1989 release of their self-titled breakthrough - an album that included the first hit, Closer to Fine, and went on to win the Grammy Award for "Best Contemporary Folk Recording." Alexander returns to the stage in this hilarious one-man variety show that features comedy, music, improvisation and audience participation.

Internationally recognized brass faculty (John Ericson, horn; Douglas Yeo, trombone; and Deanna Swoboda, tuba) and members of the ASU horn, trombone and tuba-Euphonium studios perform a wide variety of crowd-pleasing music for brass.
