"1776" is on at The Media Theatre through May 22. With a cast of Philadelphia favorites, including Ben Dibble as John Adams, "1776" is the pre-Hamilton patriotic musical which became a cultural phenomenon in the early '70's. It's in Media during the current political climate of name-calling debates as we prepare for the Democratic convention to take place in the city in which our founding fathers got together during sweltering heat to ensure our freedoms. "1776" is directed by Jennie Eisenhower.
