Cielo Torres inició en la música como parte del grupo musical femenino de cumbia Agua Bella, para luego continuar su carrera musical como solista, estableciéndose en la salsa. Su tema “Nunca es suficiente” fue número uno en diversas radios del Perú por más de 30 semanas consecutivas.
