Earlier this month, Broadway united for INSPIRATIONAL BROADWAY, a dynamic and soulful evening of music at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill. The one-night-only concert featured theater's biggest names singing Broadway, Gospel, Pop, and Rock classics with a stirring and spiritual twist, including musical arrangements by BIV founder and Tony Award-nominee Michael McElroy.

Michael McElroy and the Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) are welcomed back to First Corinthian Baptist Church for their holiday concert, HOW GREAT OUR JOY, on Monday December 14th at 7:00pm. The concert will feature music from their upcoming album Great Joy II: Around the World, with members from such shows as: HAMILTON, ON YOUR FEET!, THE LION KING, THE COLOR PURPLE, BOOK OF MORMON, FUN HOME, KINKY BOOTS and ALADDIN.

Parlor Night strikes again! Were you there for the latest Broadway pop-up party? This time, the intimate evening was hosted at the luscious Upper East Side townhouse of John Demsey (Group President of Estee Lauder). Demsey's home with its rich hues, magnificent art collection adorning the walls, and second floor living room was once home to Montgomery Clift in the early 1960s and was the hangout for luminaries such as Marilyn Monroe and Marlon Brando. So, it was only fitting that John's home embraced the second installment of Parlor Night to benefit Broadway Inspirational Voices Outreach Program.

On Sunday March 22nd, an all-star line-up of Broadway performers united to honor legendary composer, Stephen Sondheim. The evening celebrated the journey of INTO THE WOODS and Sondheim from stage to screen. Grammy award and Tony award nominee Michael McElroy and Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV) are gearing up for their second holiday album 'Great Joy II: Around the World'. They are kicking off their fundraising with a Kickstarter campaign, running from May 15th through June 15th. Broadway's Kyle Dean Massey is featured as the first guest. The interview series aims to support young, budding artists looking to excel in the professional world of musical theater with vital industry advice from performers and executives. PBS is bound for Broadway this fall with a three-hour primetime documentary series that tracks the real life stories of America's top high school musical performers vying in the ultimate competition to find the nation's best young theater stars.

Creator Michael McElroy will lead The Broadway Inspirational Voices in their 2nd Annual Spring concert to create an evening of hope, joy, and inspiration. With members such as Norm Lewis (PORGY AND BESS), Montego Glover (MEMPHIS), Eden Espinosa (WICKED) and many more representing such shows a The Lion King, Wicked, Memphis, Godspell, Pricilla Queen of the Desert, Sister Act, Spiderman, Nice Work If You Can Get It, The Book of Mormon, Leap of Faith, and Evita, "Highest Praise" will include a wide array of inspirational repertoire, including a few original pieces by McElroy.
