Planet Hollywood Times Square has installed a dazzling new digital marquee heralding its first tenant at The Screening Room Theater, Off-Broadway's hit comedy HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER. Video footage of the spectacular display debuted today on YouTube. Written and performed by Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle,HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER reopened at this uniquely elegant new venue after playing to packed houses since August 22, 2012 at Sofia's Downstairs Theater. The video reveals the (somewhat desperate) Tony hopes that the hit Off-Broadway show has been harboring since it opened on October 17, 2012 to rave reviews at Sofia's Downstairs Theater in the heart of Times Square.

The Broadway Green Alliance, with the support of WeRecycle!, encourages the New York City theatre community to come deposit their Electronic Waste (broken cell phones, computers, printers, and dry batteries) in the center of Times Square for safe disposal and recycling.
