John Leguizamo's GHETTO KLOWN, directed by Fisher Stevens, opened last night Tuesday March 22 at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street). Broadway Beat was there to celebrate opening night!

Conceived and performed by Emmy and Obie Award winner John Leguizamo, GHETTO KLOWN will open Tuesday, March 22nd and play a 12-week engagement. It marks John's fifth one-man play and his third on Broadway. Academy Award winner Fisher Stevens makes his Broadway directorial debut with the show.

John Leguizamo's GHETTO KLOWN is currently playing at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre in advance of a March 22 opening and this morning he was a guest on GOOD MORNING AMERICA.

John Leguizamo meets Stephen (aka - the Freak Out Kid), who he parodied in a video. Stephen wasn't amused, so as a way of making it up to him, John invited him backstage to his show, Ghetto Klown, when he was doing it out in Chicago.
