Tony nominee Adam Pascal will join the cast of the Tony Award-winning best musical MEMPHIS next week on Tuesday October 25th. This afternoon, October 20th, fans and press got a special preview as Adam performed numbers from the show on the stage of Broadway's Shubert Theatre for the first time with the cast and BroadwayWorld.com was there!

The first National Tour of Memphis just opened in - you guessed it - Memphis on October 16. The cast recently visited Elvis Presley's home, Graceland. Last week we brought you the photos and today we brings you a video diary of the trip!

The 2010 Tony winning Best Musical MEMPHIS recently announced a partnership with The Great Atlantic Pacific & Tea Company (A&P) to raise money for New York-area Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Beginning July 4, 2011, customers at all A&P, Pathmark, Food Emporium, Waldbaum's, Food Basics, Super Fresh and Best Cellars stores will be asked to make a donation to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at the register. Those who donate will also receive a special discount offer for tickets to MEMPHIS on Broadway. The promotion will run through the end of July in more than 360 stores along the eastern seaboard.

Critically acclaimed MEMPHIS won four 2010 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Original Score (David Bryan and Joe DiPietro), Best Book (Joe DiPietro), and Best Orchestrations (David Bryan and Daryl Waters). MEMPHIS won four Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Performance by an Actress (Montego Glover), Outstanding Music (David Bryan) and Outstanding Orchestration (David Bryan and Daryl Waters). MEMPHIS has also won four Outer Critic Circle Awards including Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Score (David Bryan & Joe DiPietro), Outstanding Actress (Montego Glover) and Outstanding Choreography (Sergio Trujillo). Memphis star Montego Glover performed for the Obamas at The Ford's Theatre's annual gala on June 6th. Singing 'Colored Woman' Glover wowed the crowd. The show was telecast on July 2nd.

Memphis took away the 2010 Tony for Best Musical. The show also won honors for Best Book Of a Musical, and Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre.

The cast of the hit Broadway musical MEMPHIS performed the number 'Someday' live on Thursday, May 27th, in the 9am (EST) hour on NBC's 'The Today Show.' The appearance featured Tony-nominated stars Montego Glover and Chad Kimball as well as Tony-nominated composer and Bon Jovi founding member David Bryan. Click below to watch the spot!

The audience members attending the April 17th 2 PM performance of Memphis were given an extra special treat when Ramon Castro got on stage and proposed to his girlfriend Celeste Sanders. Castro quoted the show asking Sanders if she would be the woman to pick out his clothes for the rest of his life, a line used by Huey Calhoun.
