Second Stage Theatre presents the world premiere production of Whorl Inside a Loop, a new play byDick Scanlan and Sherie Rene Scott, co-directed by Michael Mayer and Mr. Scanlan, the creative team behind the Tony-nominated, critically acclaimed hit, Everyday Rapture, which had its world premiere at Second Stage Theatre in 2009. WHORL INSIDE A LOOP began performances on August 4 and officially opened on August 27, 2015 at Second StageTheatre's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd street).

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Jake Gyllenhaal is set to lead the Encores! Off-Center concert production of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken's Little Shop of Horrors, running July 1-2, 2015. The production will be directed by Dick Scanlan, with choreography by Patricia Wilcox. Jeanine Tesori is the Artistic Director of Encores! Off-Center, and Chris Fenwick is Music Director.
