SOMETHING ROTTEN!, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw, with music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, has been nominated for a whopping ten Tony Awards - in honor of Broadway's biggest night, the cast of the show has recorded an original song. We are yet another day closer to the biggest night on every theatre-lover's calendar- the 69th Annual Tony Awards, which will be co-hosted by Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming on Sunday, June 7 (8PM on CBS). Hosted by HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH's Darren Criss, Broadway's best turned out for the annual performance - including Christian Borle and the cast of SOMETHING ROTTEN, who performed 'It's Hard to Be the Bard' - check it out below!

On last night's TONIGHT SHOW, Brian d'arcy James, Chrisitan Borle and the cast of the Tony nominated Broadway musical SOMETHING ROTTEN performed a medley of 'God I Hate Shakespeare' and 'Hard to Be the Bard'.

BroadwayWorld confirmed earlier today that Hamilton will be heading uptown next season! Lin-Manuel Miranda's newest musical, which opened to rave reviews last week, will arrive on Broadway this summer at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The show will start previews on July 13th and will open on August 6th. The world premiere production of HAMILTON, inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail, will run an additional four weeks through Sunday, May 3 with an official press opening last night, February 17 at The Public Theater. HAMILTON began performances on Tuesday, January 20 and has been extended three times, through May 3, with an official press opening on Tuesday, February 17. On September 19, 2014, some of the biggest stars on Broadway were invited to perform at a benefit concert for the Amigos de Jesus Orphanage (http://www.amigosdejesus.org/) and the children of Honduras.
