Brian Cox, Jim Gaffigan, Chris Noth, Jason Patric and Kiefer Sutherland will star in the Broadway revival of Jason Miller's Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play THAT CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON, directed by Gregory Mosher. Korean American playwright Lloyd Suh's Off-Broadway play 'American Hwangap' holds its Asian premiere in Manila through a co-production arrangement between the Cultural Center of the Philippines' (CCP) resident theatre company Tanghalang Pilipino, and New York-based Lark Play Development Center. Top billed by the Philippines' most respected actors on stage, television and film - Mario O' Hara, Celeste Legaspi, Gina Pareño and Bembol Roco - 'American Hwangap' is presented in its original English form, and in a Filipino translation written by Philippine literature professor and writer Joi Barrios-Leblanc. The play runs until Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the CCP Little Theatre.
Zach Grenier will reprise his Tony Award-nominated role in '33 Variations' at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre, joining two-time Academy Award-winner Jane Fonda who stars in the compelling new play written and directed by Moisés Kaufman. The West Coast premiere of '33 Variations' will be presented January 30 through March 6, 2011. Opening is set for February 9.
Both Grenier and Fonda will perform the roles they played in the 2009 Broadway run of '33 Variations.' The play was nominated for a total of five Tony Awards, including Best Actress for Fonda and Best Featured Actor for Grenier.
