The 80th Annual Drama League Awards Ceremony and Luncheon is being held this afternoon, May 16, at the Marriott Marquis Times Square, where winners will be announced for Distinguished Production of a Play, Distinguished Production of a Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and the much coveted Distinguished Performance Award. The 2014 Honorees for Outstanding Broadway or Off-Broadway Debut Performance, the 6th Annual Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in the Theater for an Outstanding Performance in a Broadway or Off-Broadway Production, and the John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre, were announced today by the Theatre World. The winners will be celebrated at the 70th Annual Theatre World Awards Ceremony set Monday evening, June 2, 2014 beginning at 6:45 p.m. at Circle in the Square (West 50th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue), home of the current Broadway revival of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill.

The 2014 Tony Award Nominations were announced earlier today, and while a select, talented few will spend the day celebrating their achievements, there are many who just fell short of a 2014 nod. Rubicon Theatre Company announces a Broadway Cabaret Benefit that will feature Broadway stars Krysta Rodriguez (First Date, The Addams Family and 'Smash') and Megan McGinnis (LES MISERABLES, Little Women and Beauty and the Beast). Taking place on May 12th at 7 pm in Montecito, CA, the night will consist of hors d'oeuvres, a hosted bar, a silent auction, and a specially designed program of various Broadway hits performed as an intimate concert.

OUR TIME will host its 12th ANNUAL BENEFIT GALA, on Monday, April 28, 2014, 7:00PM, at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts & Rosenthal Pavilion at New York University, 566 LaGuardia Place at Washington Square South, New York, NY.

The evening's one-of-a-kind all-star tribute, hosted by Emmy®, Grammy, Oscar and Tony® Award winner, Whoopi Goldberg, featured dozens of celebrities from Hollywood and Broadway in a one-night-only evening of musical selections drawn from Mr. Harris' career in theater, film and television, co-directed by Tony® Award winner and Drama League Alumnus Michael Mayer with Johanna McKeon, and co-produced by Roger T. Danforth and Trevor Tamashiro. BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was on hand for the big event, where he chatted with all of the evening's guests.
