On June 11th, 2008 COMPOSE YOURSELF! began at the York Theatre Company The music is by Larry Grossman with lyrics by Hal Hackady, Ellen Fitzhugh, Betty Comden & Adolph Green, Buz Kohan, Carol Hall, Fred Ebb,Amanda Green, Drey Shepperd and Michael Korie. The cast boasts Nikki Renee Daniels (Les Misérables), Darius de Haas (Rent), Jason Graae (A Grand Night for Singing), Tony Nomimee Liz Larsen (Hairspray, The Most Happy Fella), Lorna Luft (Guys and Dolls) and Howard McGillin (The Phantom of the Opera). Stuart Ross (Forever Plaid creator) directs the production with music direction by David Snyder. Award-winning composer Grossman is featured at the piano.

Phillips and Easterbrook Join 'Dance With Me'

Joining previously announced Jai Rodriguez (Rent, The Producers, Zanna, Don't!) as Desi Arnaz and Jim J. Bullock (Hair and TV's 'Too Close for Comfort') as Harry Hackerman in the new musical DANCE WITH ME about Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz are Fleur Phillips (The Rise and Fall of Little Voice and Scapin) who will be tackling the role of Lucille Ball and Leslie Easterbrook (California Suite, On the Twentieth Century and the Police Academy movies) as Dede Ball.

The cult status of her regrettable singing spread through New York, culminating in a smash hit record and a sold-out Carnegie Hall solo concert.

Florence Foster Jenkins Story 'Souvenir' Date Change

Souvenir was first developed at the Berkshire Theatre Festival. It has since played New York's York Theatre Company and Broadway's Lyceum Theatre, where it starred Judy Kaye as Jenkins and won her a 2006 Tony Award nomination.
