After leading the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) on a critically acclaimed seven-city, 11-concert European tour in January 2017, Music Director Riccardo Muti returns to Chicago in February for two weeks of concerts and activities, February 13-25.

On Today, February 9, 2017 at 8:00PM at the St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, 552 West End Ave. at 87th St, American Classical Orchestra will present an evening of the music by Jean Phillip Rameau.

New works, multimedia presentations, performances of choral masterworks, and an expansive state-wide community singing project that will have global reach comprise the Los Angeles Master Chorale's 54th season announced today by Artistic Director Grant Gershon and President and CEO Jean Davidson.

The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) announced its 2017/18 season to a packed house in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre earlier this evening. The Houston Symphony announced Monday that concert tickets for Yo-Yo Ma are now on sale to the general public. Globally famous, the superstar cellist will join the orchestra and Music Director Andres Orozco-Estrada at 7:30 p.m. Today, Feb. 4, 2017 at Jones Hall. Ma will perform Dvorak's powerful Cello Concerto, a masterpiece written during the time the composer spent in America. Gershwin's jazz-influenced American in Paris will also be on the program.

The Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at the University of British Columbia (UBC) presents Noche Flamenca'sAntigona, their critically-acclaimed work fusing flamenco and Greek tragedy, March 12 at 7pm in the Chan Shun Concert Hall. Adapted from Sophocles' Antigone, and starring Bessie-award winner Soledad Barrio as the lead, Antigona looks at repression, heroism and loss in a fiery, multi-media spectacle.
