HIRSCH DIED YESTERDAY, which runs Friday, January 21 to Sunday, February 20 with an official press preview on Thursday, January 20. Directed by Woodie King, Jr. (founder and producing director of the New Federal Theatre).

Actors' Equity Association's National Equal Employment Opportunity Committee is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Rosetta LeNoire Award. The deadline for nominations is Friday, February 11, 2011. Created in 1988 and named in honor of the noted actress and producer Rosetta LeNoire, the award will be presented at the annual Equity Membership Meeting in April.

Premiere Stages, the professional Equity theatre at Kean University, is excited to kick off the 2010/2011 Premiere Artists Series with a panel featuring New York Commercial Producers Pat Addiss, Larry Hirschhorn, and Carol Ostrow. The event will take place on Monday, November 29th at 3:15pm in the University Center Little Theatre, 1000 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ. Premiere Stages invites the public to attend this candid conversation about producing as a profession, the state of commercial theatre and the challenges of producing during a recession.

Performances begin November 11th with Opening Night set for Sunday, November 21st. Performances continue through December 5th only. Chuck Smith directs a cast that features Erin Cherry, André De Shields, Gillian Glasco, Morocco Omari, Sean Phillips, and Marie Thomas. Knock Me a Kiss will have set design by Anthony Davidson, costume design by Ali Turns, lighting design by Shirley Prendergast, and sound design by Bill Toles.
