The battle of the sexes becomes a sensual tango in Lantern Theater Company's production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, running March 19-May 3. Directed by Charles McMahon, the production features David Bardeen, K.O. DelMarcelle, Nathan Foley, J Hernandez, Dave Johnson, Joanna Liao, Ahren Potratz, Matt Tallman, and Bradley K. Wrenn.

11th Hour Theatre Company is heading back to the 80s this Spring with its first commission. The company is finalizing the World Premiere of Michael Ogborn's Field Hockey Hot - its first World Premiere and commission. This gender-bending field hockey musical will run March 5-22. Opening night is Monday, March 9 at 7 p.m.

In an unprecedented display of solidarity among a giant consortium of the American theater's artistic directors, an open letter has been issued in support of Ari Roth, following his recent dismissal from the Jewish Community Center in Washington, D.C., where he has served as Artistic Director of Theater J for the past 18 years. The letter, released earlier today represents the views of top theater brass from coast-to-coast, who believe that his dismissal was an act of politically motivated censorship in retaliation for Roth's choice to produce and publicly defend challenging and provocative work.
