Cast, Creative Team Set for BLOOD BROTHERS at Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre

Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre Artistic Director and Co-Founder Fred Anzevino has announced the cast for Blood Brothers, the megahit British musical by Willy Russell that will open the company's 2015-16 season, The musical drama is the story of twin brothers separated at birth - one raised by a rich family, the other by the impoverished birth mother of the boys. In the leading role of the boys' mother, Mrs. Johnstone, will be Kyrie Anderson. Her sons Mickey (the son she kept) and Edward (the son adopted by a wealthy couple) will be played by Charlie Mann and Cody Jolly, respectively. Victoria Oliver and Darren Hill have been cast as Mr. and Mrs. Lyons, the couple who adopt Edward. Dana Anderson will play Linda, the romantic interest of both brothers, and Cullen Rogers will be the criminally inclined Sammy. Jordan Phelps has the role of The Narrator and Whitney Rappana, Ryan Dooley and Ryan Armstrong will comprise the  ensemble.

Juan Francisco Villa's DON CHIPOTLE to Make World Premiere at the Storefront Theater Next Month

terraNOVA Collective and The Playground Theater, in association with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, are pleased to announce the world premiere of DON CHIPOTLE by Juan Francisco Villa (Empanada for a Dream), directed by Jo Cattell. A new Latino superhero is born in this epic coming-of-age adventure, told through theatre, puppetry, animation, music and a children's choir. DON CHIPOTLE will play August 25 - September 27, 2015 at the Storefront Theater, 66 E. Randolph St. in Chicago. 

New Yiddish Rep to Stage DEATH OF A SALESMAN This Fall

Willy Loman will be given a new lease on life this fall when New Yiddish Rep presents Arthur Miller's American classic "Death of a Salesman" in Yiddish, in a unique premiere that coincides with the centennial of Miller's birth on October 17.

WaterTower Theatre's 2nd Annual Community Cast Party to be Held 9/12

Michael Begley, Miria Parvin and Rebecca Thornhill Join West End's MATILDA

Evie Hone and Lizzie Wells will join Anna-Louise Knight and Lara McDonnell in the title role of the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical from Tuesday 15 September 2015. Joining the four actresses will be Michael Begley (Mr Wormwood), Miria Parvin (Miss Honey) and Rebecca Thornhill (Mrs Wormwood). Craige Els will continue in the role of Miss Trunchbull.
