BWW Review: Round House Theatre's IRONBOUND Simmers Quietly
by Jennifer Perry - Sep 16, 2015

If I were to describe Martyna Majok's IRONBOUND in but a few words, I would refer to it as follows: "a deceptively simple, thought-provoking, and elegant work of art." This world premiere is Round House Theatre's contribution to Washington, DC's unprecedented Women's Voices Theater Festival, and it's a decidedly unmissable one to be sure.

BWW Reviews: All Hail - Folger's Mystical JULIUS CAESAR Conquers All
by Jeffrey Walker - Nov 5, 2014

Steeped in a mystic atmosphere, director Robert Richmond and his excellent company of actors breathe new life to Shakespeare's political and personal tale of assassination and retribution. JULIUS CAESAR is visually stunning, a feast for the ears, and boasts a commanding ensemble. If you thought JULIUS CAESAR was about guys in togas and Marc Antony's funeral speech, think again. This is a production not to miss.

by Pamela Roberts - Jul 29, 2014

Abominable delves deeply into what is hidden on the inside versus what is visible on the outside. What is needed? What is safe? What is seen? What is missed? What is not to be missed is Abominable, a masterful world premiere at The Hub Theater; a poignant tale of fear, connection and humanity told with humor and compassion.
