Know Theatre of Cincinnati is excited to share two of our educational performances for the ArtsWave Sampler Weekends. Calculus: The Musical! and Brothers Grimm. Calculus: The Musical! will be performed Sunday, April 10th at 1pm and Brothers Grimm on Saturday April 23 at 11am. In addition to our two productions, Know Theatre is also the venue for Renee Alper's one woman show, Non-vertical Girl performing April 23 at 1pm.
A steady stream of good news has been flowing from the Dallas Theater Center in recent weeks - popular artistic director Kevin Moriarty's contract was renewed through 2014; the company ended 2010, a particularly difficult year for most arts organizations, in the black; and fundraising powerhouse Heather Kitchen was hired as its new managing director. Now, Dallas Theater Center has launched a $12 million advancement campaign, with $8 million already committed.
Steven Hauck has replaced Jonathan Lincoln Fried as Wilhelm Canaris in the Affinity Company Theater and 3-Legged Dog world premiere production of Sheila Schwartz's 'SPY GARBO,' directed by Kevin Cunningham. This Off Broadway engagement will be performed at 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street (just south of Rector). The dates remain the same (as previously announced) with previews beginning on Tuesday, March 1, and the official Opening Performance on Sunday, March 6 at 3:00 p.m.

Accompanying the gallery exhibition of the same name, this series explores the influence of music on contemporary art practices, focusing on New York in the 1980s and 1990s and the birth of 'remix culture.' These films and videos examine the birth of hip-hop; new articulations of feminism; AIDS activism; the artistic development of music videos; and the rise of the digital domain.

Decca Classics is pleased to announce that pianist Dame Mitsuko Uchida has just won her first-ever Grammy award. The recording, Mozart: Piano Concertos nos. 23 & 24, was released in the US on September 8, 2009 and is one in a series of recordings of Mozart concertos with Uchida planned on Decca.
