Danielle Brooks, Carly Hughes, Ciara Renee & More Round Out BROADWAY SINGS WHITNEY HOUSTON Concert Lineup

The starry lineup is complete for the 11th installment of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series, Broadway Sings Whitney Houston, in which a cast of 15 Broadway stars will sing completely new arrangements of the legendary diva's greatest hits, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra playing original orchestrations. Joining the list of performers are Danielle Brooks (The Color Purple, 'Orange is the New Black'), Carly Hughes (Chicago), Mykal Kilgore (Book of Mormon, 'The Wiz Live!'), and Ciara Renee (Pippin, 'DC's Legends of Tomorrow').

Albuquerque Film & Music Experience Sets 2016 Showcase Music Lineup

The fourth annual Albuquerque Film & Music Experience (AFME) kicks off in April, with this year's events featuring one-of-a-kind musical experiences, including the 2016 Showcase Music Event. VOTES to Offer Musical Theatre View of the Clintons at Castillo This Spring

VOTES by Jacqueline S. Salit and Fred Newman, composed by leading pop/country tunesmith Annie Roboff, is an 'outsider' musical with a canny view of the Clintons as a political couple. Joy Elan Releases LIFE IS A CANVAS

Bay Area author and poetess Joy Elan has resided all of her life in Oakland and Berkeley, CA. In her younger years-after having earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from U.C. Berkeley and Stanford University-she was an avid keeper of personal journals. After later publishing three well-received books of poetry, Elan began referring back to diaries that she recorded as long as ten years ago. She decided to share her personal life, dreams and life's lessons in a new biographical novel titled 'Life Is A Canvas.' Elan commented, 'Writing this book involved me going back in time and recreating some things that occurred in my life during 2005 and 2006.'
